Hot FRocks!

Check out these hot frocks.....!!!
Janine and I got quite excited on Saturday when we put together these cute little numbers with some of the newest fabrics in store now at Materialise
This 100% cotton voile cammo-esk style print was our pick for the day....

We also really liked this more colourful floral number (also cotton voile)

Now this frock is Hot!!!
This svelte cotton/silk fabric drapes like a waterfall & feels truly aMazing!........

Also New is this exciting printed linen! We think this cool city scape would make a very cute tunic dress to wear over tights...

Now Available! A beautiful new 100% linen in a nice subtle range of colours. We also have a beautiful italian linen in white, 2 new swiss voile's and some fine japanese shirtings.....!Yum
Not so long ago Lucy girl was in town on a short stop over between Paris & London and she wanted to make a doona cover and pillowcase to match. Inspired by some Liberty fabrics purchased on her travels Lucy added some new bits from Materialise and came up with these little gems...
We incorporated a lovely fine crisp cotton sateen with our liberty tana lawn fabrics and constructed a single bed doona cover with a 15cm flange pieced in Liberty. Lucy individually covered 38mm buttons using 10 different Liberty prints.

These buttons were for decoration only because we used large 19mm press studs as closures. However the buttons provide a lovely softness and say "I'm a one off handmade beautiful thing"!
Lucy chose a rich french navy sateen as the backing for both pieces and also piped her european pillowcase in the same sateen.
We also have these 5inch Liberty charm squares - precut for you to make into a quilt top.
Emily used an array of our japanese indigo's and also cut up a indigo shibori scarf she had always loved but never really worn....
This is Emily's first quilt which she made for her beloved boyfriend. Emily tied the quilt together with this japanese print which she added as an 8 inch border increasing the effect by mitring the corners.
Christel made this very stylish quilt for her daughter out of a beautifully toned selection of japanese fabrics.
Christel's colour selection was elegantly fine tuned and the overall effect was harmonious.
And another Emily made this very cute apple apron using a sturdy nail head canvas....
Expecting mum Nicky made our Novelty Sqr'd quilt for her new & 3rd little boy Matthew.....
"I can't wait to meet him."
Margaret made this simply stunning Kaffe Fassett snowball quilt
Margaret has fussy cut her centres from the floral prints used above & then teamed it with one of Kaffe's spots to make this beautifully colour balanced masterpiece...
