Liberty Shipment - Just Arrived! at Materialise

Capel is a true Liberty classic! Remember these golden oldies? I have had one 2 inch strip of this green Capel in my stash for a while now, too scared to use it in case I couldn't find more. The turquoise colourway is extremely popular amongst our customers and is now a discontinued colour. It won't last long on the bolt so if you want some you will need to be quick.
The latest Liberty shipment includes these popular Liberty Classics. Tatum in the pink and the wedgewood blue, cornflower blue and rust red and Mauvey in these fresh colourful tones and the new aqua and watermelon colourway
There are some beauties below including Rosa in a raspberry red and apricot tone, Elysian in the yellow, mauve and pink and the soft pink Glenjade and Toria.

Marina Seaflower (shown below) is an absolute stunner! These giant floppy blousey florals are so expressive and the combination of colours used in this print is absolutely exquisite. This fabric would make a brilliant whole cloth quilt.....

The sunflowers or "Susannah" was first released years ago in this larger more voluptuous size. Since then they scaled the print down and named it "Small Susannah"
I much prefer the larger print of this design because you can really see the detail in each sunflower which is made up of hand drawn hearts......
I can't wait to get stuck in and start cutting hexies from these big floppy sunflowers
Anna's Garden is another divine giant sized floral landscape made up of the most stunning selection of cottage garden florals; iris', lily's, poppy's, hydrangea's and delphinium's just to name a few
Above is just a fabulous selection of colours that we have just received. Including this fresh bright blue Glenjade and one of my favourite's the black and magenta Glenjade.
Back in stock is Felix and Isabelle in the purple and orange colourway and the strawberry thief with the dark pink strawberry's. This selection also shows Umbria in a divine dark teal colourway and petal and bud in dark pink too.

We also have heaps more in the store: including Mitsi in green that many have been asking for, Katie and Millie and many many more......

Materialise also has pre-cut hexagons in our Japanese Indigo's.

This week I used the hexagons and paper pieced this indigo quilt to show you how amazing these Japanese fabrics all look combined with the lovely textural yarn dyed fabric that I have used for the background of each block. It looks a bit grey in this pic but it is a soft blue tone shot with an oatmeal colour.
I have used a soft celery green yarn dyed fabric for the sashings. This quilt top isn't finished yet. I have one more row to attach and then will do a border too.
