Gorgeous new Japanese fabrics arrived into the store

These gorgeous new Japanese fabrics arrived into the store this week....
I have been waiting for the arrival of this fun and frivolous double gauze... I just love the quirkiness of the giraffe in this novelty print and I have no doubt that this gender neutral fabric will fly off the shelf. We will be making some of our deluxe baby wraps, face cloths and kerchief style bibs. I also think a romper would be pretty darn cute too....
Many customers have been asking for the 100% Linen (shown at the top) in a dark gun metal grey. The colour of this drapey Japanese cloth is perfect for frocks, tops and shorts. The city scape (bottom) is another beautiful double gauze. Dark Charcoal with hints of seafoam green and citrine are the colours they have printed on a soft dove grey background.....
Cool car prints are always extremely popular at Materialise especially these cool retro prints with Red London buses and VW beetles.... Iconic
We also get a lot of requests for Apples. This graphic style print is very Eric Carle aka The Hungry Caterpillar.... Printed on a linen/cotton blend I am def thinking some tea towels, napkins, aprons or pot holders might look pretty cute in my kitchen.... Perfect also for cute novelty quilts or as a backing for a floor quilt...
I also couldn't go past these cute Animalia prints for novelty quilts, especially since it can be so difficult to find groovy prints for little boys...
We are constantly asked for Elephants, Monkeys, Giraffes and Zebras and here they are.....
So come in and see us in the store and we can help you put together a great selection of co-ordinating colours....
