Fun & Funky... Stacks of New Japanese Fabrics Arrive at Materialise!

Friday got funky when Shelby and I got a large delivery from one of our favourite Japanese fabric suppliers. 

So many different fabrics arrived in an array of styles, textures and colours.... 

Here is a selection of what's in store now!

Sevenberry's cute animal novelty's and stripes for boys. 

Deluxe double gauze in a tangy mandarin spot & classic nautical print. 

Natural linen blend with a soft red metallic star. 

Magnificent mid grey micro gingham check. 

Robust chambray cotton which has a cool denim vibe......

Delicious Texture: 

Indigo fabrics in brand new designs to compliment the large selection of indigo's already in stock. 

We have jelly rolls and pre-cut squares ready to go so all you need to do is sew.

Super Supple Deluxe Double Gauze in four gorgeous plain colours; 

denim blue, marle grey, antique rose and ice blue. 

(I've had requests for these plains)

Whimsical & girly petite florals in pink/purple and zesty yellow/green.
Deluxe double gauze in pastel multi spot on pale grey and a fresh yellow/pink/purple dappled spot. Classic micro gingham check in pink.

including the green apple double gauze that everyone loves because it makes perfect 'gender neutral' baby wraps........

Fresh Ideas at Materialise

We currently have lots of Japanese double gauze perfect for wraps and deluxe facecloths. Choose the fabric in the design you love and make them yourself and add the perfect Liberty binding to match or buy one of our packs we have already made....

Shelby makes these great pouches that have been so popular. Shelby's latest selection are made using the latest Liberty Collection, The Artist and are mixed with real leather which is soft and supple to touch.

We have co-ordinated many packs for you to enjoy. 

Loralie has made a "Plus" quilt to inspire us all also using the latest Liberty Collection.

Happy New Year! This week we re-opened the shop to showcase the latest collection released by Liberty Art Fabrics for Spring/Summer 2016, 'The Artist'. View our website to see the fabrics that we have in the store. 

These fabrics are simply stunning

The landscape in each picture is called 'Posy Landscape' and is the central print that the collection is co-ordinated around. 

The detail and the colours are breathtaking.

We have hand cut a selection of beautifully co-ordinated jelly rolls.

New Liberty's - just arrived

New Yuwa and Kokka Fabrics

This week these gorgeous new Yuwa fabrics arrived. This fine lawn is almost exactly the same weight as Liberty and will make stunning dresses and also work beautifully in quilts. Many more other designs arrived.

These cute babushka dolls are in double gauze from Kokka and the cute hearts below are a linen cotton blend. 

New Linens from Yuwa. These fabrics are 150cms wide and have that beautifully Japanese drape. The colours are very wearable too. 

Looking for something extra special this Christmas?! We have made a selection of velvet cushions using the Liberty Interiors fabrics. This design is from The Secret Garden Collection.
