Materialise is a bespoke textile art studio, located in Perth's Western suburbs. Twelfth Carrefour Europeen Du Patchwork winner Sophie Stromeier opened the doors of Materialise in 2008, comprising a store of beautiful fabrics and gifts collected from around the world. Specialising in Liberty of London fabrics, Italian Aurifil thread, and Sevenberry, Yuwa and Kokka fabrics (Japan.) Materialise is also scattered with incredible vintage homewares Sophie sources from all over, and lovingly restores by hand. Materialise thrives on providing the most stylish, contemporary, creative outlook on every project, no matter how great or small. Sophie's ideas are endless, and her unique eye for colour and print is unmatched. Classes are also available by appointment with Sophie herself, to help anybody at any skill level achieve their patchwork dreams! Materialise is a store with attitude, extra friendly service and just the right amount of crazy to bring exquisite handmade treasure into your home.
