Many of you may have seen Michele and I working on this special quilt in the store for Micheles' grand daughter Mabel. This quilt also caused a bit of a stir at the Quilt and Craft Fair last week. We sold many patterns and Liberty fabric to make this quilt.
We now have the pattern to make this gorgeous Liberty creation in the store. It uses over 50 different designs to colour wash the leaves into the seasonal tones so they represent the colours of Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter. To Celebrate we have a special on all our Liberty Fat 1/8ths and Fat 16ths in the store and also continue our show special on the pattern too. So come in and grab the pattern and a bundle while stocks last!

This week we have been at the Quilt and Craft Show at the Perth Convention Centre. It is our first year and it has been fantastic!
So many people are so excited to find out where they can buy Liberty in Perth. Materialise now has the largest range and we definitely have the friendliest service in town, because we love what we do and we love all of our customers! We have put my award winning quilt on display as a bit of a drawcard and that has worked a treat attracting many bees to our honey pot.
We also have Mabel's Liberty Tree of Life made at Materialise by Michele over the past year and this quilt has also had a lot of attention. We have sold a lot of the pattern that we now have in stock to make this magnificent creation
We also have beautiful shadow boxes created by Trudy which showcase the potential of the Liberty sticky that we have made in abundance that has also been selling like hot cakes!
Today (Sunday) is the last day and we will all be open until 4.30 so it is not too late to come down and check us out. We have a load of Liberty that we have never had in the store before and we also have a special show price on the Liberty if you come to the show.
Our stall is right at the back of the Exhibition hall and right outside the entrance to the quilt show which is amazing. There are Liberty quilts on display in the exhibition and there are also some beautiful vintage quilts from the 1930's that are worth a look.
So if you weren't sure whether you should come or not the answer is YES come down today we open at 9 am........ Better get a move on!

This year Materialise will take part at the Quilt and Craft Fair at the Perth Convention Centre held in May from the 20th to 24th. Our stall will be adorned with all manner of gorgeous Liberty creations and Liberty fabrics plus we will also be featuring a selection of our beautiful Japanese fabrics.
This week we have some new Liberty Jelly Rolls featuring the Gallymoggers "Alice in Wonderland" print. Each roll has a selection of 20 designs. We have made them in full rolls consisting of 40 strips precision cut at 2.5 inches wide or a half roll with 20 strips.
In addition this week I have finally managed to complete the updates for the Liberty Frou-Frou skirt. The pattern is now available. I have altered the pattern slightly and added a second option on how to elasticte the waistband on the skirt for all those that find shirring problematic (including myself at times).
For all those customers who have purchased the pattern and would like the update just bring in your pattern and we will exchange it for you free of charge. (You must bring the old pattern as proof of purchase)
